History of Harmony Hearth & Home

Royalty Hearth, LLC and Royalty Homes, LLC.

In March 2025, the King Family of Cheyenne, Wyoming purchased the business and assets of Harmony Hearth & Home under the auspices of Royalty Hearth, LLC. The buildings were purchased by Royalty Homes, also owned by the King Family. Three generations of the family currently work at the store.

The Brennan family of Cheyenne, Wyoming bought the business in 2009 and re-named it Harmony Hearth & Home. At that time it was located at 3151 E. Nationway near the current Ashley Furniture Store. In 2013 they purchased the property and buildings at 922 W. Lincolnway and in October of that year moved the business to that location. Three generations of the family were involved in the business at one time or another during the years that the Brennan's operated the store.

The store was originally founded by Jim and Diane Martin and was first known as D&J Pellet Stoves. They later changed the name to D & J Hearth and Home and it was located in the Ashley Furniture Store shopping center.  A more detailed history of this era is coming soon.

During the 1960s, a restaurant and liquor store operated out of the buildings at 922 W. Lincolnway. A large photo of the restaurant and a menu from that time can be seen on the wall of the entrance foyer to the current showroom.

The warehouse was built in the 1920s and the current showroom in 1952.
